Step 1: Delete Cookie and Temp files
=1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Click Tools->Internet Options.

3. In the General tab, click Delete Cookies, Delete Files.

4. Click "Settings", and then click "View Files". Delete all files in this
folder.


5. In the Settings window, click "View Objects". Delete all the objects in
this
folder.
Note: If some objects cannot be deleted, please restart the computer and try
again.


6. Click the Advanced tab, click the Restore Defaults icon and clear the
check on
"Enable third-party browser extensions".

Step 2: Registry "*.dll" files
1. Close all instances of Internet Explorer.

2. Click Start, and then click Run.

3. Type " Regsvr32 wuapi.dll " (without the quotation marks), and then
click OK.

4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message,
click
OK.

If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of
the
following files (in step 3, replace wuapi.dll with each of the file names
below):


wuaueng1.dll
wuaueng.dll
wucltui.dll
wups.dll
wuweb.dll
winhttp.dll
wucltui.dll
jscript.dll

If you receive an error message, please let me know the detailed error
message.

Step 3:
Go to the C:\windows\servicepacks\i386 folder to find iuengine.dll. Then
copy it to
both C:\windows\system32 and C: \windows\system32\dllcache to replace the
file
iuengine.dll.

After above steps, if the problem still exists, please go on with the step 4
to add
service into the Registry.

Step 4:
=Please download the attachment in this email and unzip it to the desktop,
you will
get a file.

Please double click it and click OK to import the registry information to
your
system.

After that, please

1. Click the Start menu -> Run. In the Open field, type "services.msc"
(Without
quotation marks). Click OK.

2. In the service list, double-click the Automatic update service to open
it.

3. Click Start. Set the Startup type to Automatic.

4. Click OK.
