Stop Microsoft from making a clown of you.

There are far better rich media options than the Windows Media
Encoder.

But thats buried below the heap of confusion from the worlds largest
company.

Why does Microsoft insist so much on getting tied up with their
players ?

This one is from Microsoft.. Note that they insist on plugins being
the future..

says who ? why should that be ? Why do they insist on this direction ?

Plugins means Slavery. Its easy to understand why.

Hope that explains.

Get out of the web of deliberate confusion.

Fortunately there are already better alternatives for you.

No Players, no plugins, platform independent..

Far greater quality that lousy asf.

And no streaming servers, their licences and maintenence.

very reasonable.
