no termina dei nstalarse el SP2 del xp

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
ese problema esta asi desde hace rato, en el cuadro de instalacion en la
parte de details dice:running processes before install y así lleva varias
horas
ya trate bajandome el instalador y con el windows updates y termina en
lo mismo
cual es el problema y qué puedo hacer?

Verifica que no tengas ningun evento asociado al problema (en el visor de eventos), tambien pegale una mirada al log de instalacion del SP a ver que dice.
