Apagar windows desde C#.

Hola, me gustaria saber si es posible apagar el windows desde C#
se que existe el comando shutdown -t etc etc

Pero quisiera saber si existe una forma que no dependa tanto de un comando
externo.

Jorge,

Tienes la vía de Interop, llamando a la función correspondiente de la API de
Windows.
En pinvoke.net podrás encontrar info sobre esa y todas las demás funciones
de la API.
