database Timeout reason

Hi there,

We are running SQL2000 server. Ocasionally, we will have timeout issue
for insert/update a record to a table. It's been acting up lately. Do you
know what could possibly be costing it?

Thanks,

Alex

The problem is that it works most of the time. All it does is a simple
update or insert. Any thought?

Thanks,

Guess what. Once I reboot the server, it seems okay now. Do you know if
I should schedule a reboot once a week or so?

Thanks,
