Notebook demasiado lenta

Hola, me he topado con una notebook con windows xp que esta demasiado lenta.
He revisado varias cosas, incluso he usado una herramienta que por cierto
les recomiendo, llamada process explorer de sysinternals. Al ver el visor de
sucesos me encuentro con el siguiente error que se reitera seguidamente

Alguien tiene idea de que puede estar pasando?

Por si les interesa he leido esto ya, pero no me ha ayudado a corregir el
