Sí, es normal que esté detenido si no estás haciendo uso de los servicios de actualización de Microsoft en este mismo momento.

¿Ahora mismo tienes sin instalar alguna actualización de seguridad? Si así fuese, abre Inicio, Ejecutar, escribe (sin comillas) "wuauclt /detectnow" y pulsa Aceptar. Descríbenos exactamente lo que ocurre en tu sistema y seguidamente adjúntanos las últimas líneas del fichero WindowsUpdate.log de tu directorio C:\WINDOWS.

Debes respetar el espacio entre la "t" y la barra ("/"):

wuauclt /detectnow

Coméntanos qué ocurre exactamente tras ejecutar el comando y déjanos las últimas líneas del fichero WindowsUpdate.log (es probable que haya sido actualizado).
