WMP 11 en Windows XP PROf.

Loaded Windows XP Professional (Original version with licence etc). WMP 11
doesnot sound at all. The display is OK, it seems to run, but has no sound.
It says that I have a problem with my audio, BUT in the previous version I
had (Windows XP Professionalnot original-- the WMplayer 9 it was working
very well.
Now, not 9 nor 11. No audio CDs, not startup sounds.
Any help please
