Windows Explorer has stop working

CUando se incia Windows Vista Ultimate sale el siguiente mensaje "Windows Explorer has stop working" y se reinicia el explorer.exe, esto sucede cada 5 segundos, como puedo solucionar esto?

Stop the screen that makes you choose a user to logon as?

When a friend of mine boots her laptop she gets a screen where she has to click her Icon (named OWNER) to continue booting to her XP Desktop. Is there a way to stop this so she automatically boots to her Desktop? Thanks
