SQLEXPRESS 2005 en 2 maquinas

Buenas Tardes

Tengo instalado SQLEXPRESS 2005 en 2 maquinas en RED , ambas instalaciones
permiten conexion remotas , pero no he podido accesar desde una instancia la
otra maquina , y me genera el siguiente error

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When
connecting to SQL Server 2005,

this failure may be caused by the fact that under the

default settings SQL Server does not allow

remote connections.

(provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not

open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 2)

Hola, lo primero que debemos probar es que se vean los servidores, entonces
primero asegurate con el SAc de tener habilitado la opcion de conexiones
remotas, tambien que tengas el puerto 1433 habilitado. Para probar si se ven
podes usar desde el shell de cada maquina TELNET.
Si haciendo un telnet al 1433 se ven entonces el problema lo tenes en como
se hacen los logins entre un server y el otro
