Symantec Integrator Error

My computer just encountered a serious error. When I
logged on to windows I got series of error messages that
told me that a lot of directories on my drive could not
be loaded and that the data was lost. It kept on booting
and running disk check over and over again. After this
problem was solved, I got this error message after what
windows xp pro described as a serious error which my
computer encountered. "An unhandled exception had
occured...
