wierd IE problem

Hi !

Since day before yesterday, my IE 6 (on winxp pro with latest updates) has
started giving a wierd error. When i open IE, it initially works fine .. but
after some time of using it, all the links stop working. When I click on a
link, it doesn't open. The word 'Done' stays in the status. If I right click
the link and choose 'Open in new window' the new window which opens is blank
and the mouse ptr turns into the 'sand timer - processing' one and no page
ever opens.
When this happens, I've to shut down IE and start it again.
This happens randomly .. there's no fixed amt. of time in which this problem
occurs after opening IE. Sometimes it doesn't occur at all.
But it does accour 4 out of 5 times of me using IE .. so it's very
irritating.

any one has any clue? .. please help!

before you expect an answer from this group, I tell you that it's a spanish
group.
