IIS 5.1 no permite http/put

Tengo una carpeta virtual en el IIS si le pongo permisos de escritura y lectura puedo hacer un http/put a dicha carpeta correctamente, pero si lo pongo solo permisos de escritura me regresa un error 403 Access forbidden. Cual puede ser el ...
