Error con servicio de ASP.NET 0x80070427

Saludos Foro.

Tengo montados varios sitios en un servidor con Windows 2000, los sitios al
accesarlos me muestra el siguiente mensaje de error -- Server Application
Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is
currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser
to retry your request.

Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific
request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server.
Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.

Revise el estado con asp.net_state y me devuelve el error 0x80070427,
alguien podria ayudarme con este error.

Hola Antonio

La respuesta más o menos oficial es la que se encuentra en

Pero, si estuvieras en W2003, tendrías que comprobar que en el pool de
aplicaciones, la seguridad apunta a "Local System", y no a "Network Service"
