Hello Martin,

In August 22 Dean and I we start to check out this situation. I was puzzled
for the action taken by Microsoft, I start to make a few telephone calls to
Redmond (HQ) and Dean did a forensic auditory.

Here is some reading on problems resulting from those unannounced updates.

It appears that some updates are being blocked and if you had repaired XP
your WU becomes crippled.

What was thought to be a harmless patch of updates looks like it isn't.
