Problemas sql server2000

Paco, y cual es el mensaje de error del EM? que service pack tienes?

Tengo un servidor especifico para sql server 2000, el problema es que me
daba unos errores la programacion que llamaba a esta maquina, diciendome
que el permiso lo tenia denegado, el problema es que no cerraba las
sesiones de las bases de adtos ,por lo que se quedaban abiertas y consumia
la RAM.

He podido cambiar las propiedades de cada una de las bases de datos y
decirles que la cierren.

Pero ahora cada vez que abro el sql enterprise manager y nome funciona,
sin embargo el sql funciona correctamente, porque las bases de datos estan
operativas.

Por otro lado si entro desde el manager cliente del sqlserver2005 si que
me deja entrar y ver las bases de datos..

Podeis decirme que ocurre y porque desde el local se me queda bloqueado el
sqlmanager?

Tenia una noticia puesta ya con este error.

El service Pack es 4, ya habia oido algo de esto en el sp3, pero no tengo
esa version.

Error 4: [DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or
access denied.

Y por ejemplo esta mañana no va tan lento pero no va con la fluidez normal.

Como te comentaba antes las sesiones no se cerraban, ahora le he puesto que
se cierren, he reiniciado el server y sigue consumiendo la memoria fisica.

Tambien hay alguna consulta en support de microsoft que es normal, que se va
consumiendo el sql hasta que va variando,

referenciando la pagina dice :" Este comportamiento solo no indica una
pérdida de memoria. Este comportamiento es normal y es un comportamiento
previsto del grupo de búferes de SQL Server. ".

Pero el error que sale en la programacion es como si le costara de un
servidor a otro, pero no puede ser porque por red, están en un switch de 1GB
y ping 1ms, la comprobación definitiva es que la mmc en local tambien va
lenta.
