- Validate con el usuario con nombre "Administrador" y no con otra cuenta
cualquiera del grupo administradores
- Borra los archivos temporales de %temp% y de %systemroot%\temp,
- Vuelve a intentar la instalacion

Si el proceso vuelve a fallar, peganos las últimas lineas del archivo
%systemroot%\svcpack.log

Desde el editor de registro del sistema (regedit.exe) localiza las claves
siguientes:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\IP6FwAPI.NetFirewallV6Manager

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\IP6FwAPI.NetFirewallV6Manager

y comprueba los permisos, el grupo Adminsitradores debe tener permiso total
y nadie (ningun grupo) tiene permiso denegado.

Verifique los derechos y se ejecuto tal y como
antesNo encontre el EXPLORER.EXE y luego da el error
de Acces Denied con el archivo UNIDRV.DLL. Revise el
Svcpack.log y me encontre que en varias partes falla
localizando rutas y validando con Inf_Registry... Si lo
deseas te lo envio

ok, aplica todos los puntos del siguiente procedimiento y comentanos:

- Inicia en Modo Seguro, pulsando F8 durante la carga de XP, y desde
Inicio\Ejecutar escribe "%temp%" (omite comillas) borrando todos los
archivos de la carpeta que se habre. Posteriormente de nuevo desde
Inicio\ejecutar escribe "%systemroot%\temp%" y elimina los archivos que
aparece. Vacia la papelera de reciclaje. Y por último desde Inicio\Ejecutar
teclea el comando "chkdsk c: /F" te hará un par de preguntas que debes
responder afirmativamente.
En último paso, estoy suponiendo que tienes XP instalado en la unidad C: en
caso contrario sustituye por la letra corresopndiente.
Finalmente reinicia el equipo en modo normal, para que realice una
comprobacion del disco.

- Realiza un arranque limpio, sin que cargue las aplicaciones o servicios de
terceros al inicio, para ello:
Desde Inicio\Ejecutar escribe "msconfig" (omite comillas)
En la pestaña Inicio, desmarca todos los elementos
En la pestaña Servicios marca la opcion "Ocultar todos los servicios de
Microsoft" asi mostrará unicamente servicios que te han instalado
aplicaciones de terceros.
Acepta los cambios y reinicias el equipo.
Ojo! si usabas un firewall de terceros, habrá quedado deshabilitado, por lo
que seria conveniente desconectaras el equipo de la red, para no tener
acceso a Internet.

- Si se trata de un portátil, debes conectarlo a la red electrica, SP2
detecta si el equipo se alimenta con bateria y cancela el proceso al iniciar
la instalacion.

- Verifica que tienes suficiente espacio en disco, al menos 1,6GB para los
archivos temporales de instalacion, archivos nuevos del SP2, archivos de
desinstalacion y punto de de restauracion.

- Desde la consola Servicios (services.msc) verifica que el servicio
"Servicos de cifrado" tiene el Tipo de Inicio:Automatico

- Desde Simbolo del Sistema (cmd) ejecuta los siguientes comandos (pulsa
Intro al final de cada linea):
net stop cryptsvc
ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.old
net start cryptsvc

- Desde Simbolo del Sistema (cmd) ejecuta los siguientes comandos para
registrar librerias asociadas (pulsa Intro al final de cada linea):
regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 /u wintrust.dll
regsvr32 /u initpki.dll
regsvr32 /u dssenh.dll
regsvr32 /u rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 /u gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 /u sccbase.dll
regsvr32 /u slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 /u cryptdlg.dll
regsvr32 /u softpub.dll


- Tras llevar acabo los puntos anteriores vuelve a lanzar la instalacion de
SP2
