Tamaño de templog.ldf

Por error incrementé el tamaño en la tabla Tempdb del
archivo Templog.ldf a 1000MB y al querer volverlo a 1MB
se dispara el siguiente mensaje de error:

Error 21335:[SQL-DMO] The new DBFile size must be larger
than the current size.

Entonces reinicia el Servicio y si es posible el Servidor!! de vez en cuando
vale hacerlo ;-)

Maxi, he reiniciado servicio y el servidor y el
templog.ldf sigue manteniendo el mismo tamaño :-(

Entonces reinicia el Servicio y si es posible el

Servidor!! de vez en cuando

Hola,

no es necesario reiniciar el servicio de SQL Server aunque reiniciando el servicio también se puede conseguir; prueba con dbcc shrinkfile.

a mí el siguiente código me ha funcionado correctamente:

alter database tempdb
modify file (
name = templog,
size = 500mb )
go

sp_helpdb 'tempdb'
go

use tempdb
go
dbcc shrinkfile (templog, 100)
