Two Lans and a firewall??

Hi everybody,
I have in my office two differente users, one group use windows xp pro
(192.168.10.x), and our group use windows xp pro(192.168.11.x) , as you can
see both groups are in a different lan range, also we are in a Windows 2003
domain.
Now we want to install a ????? (Firewall) computer in between and control,
give access and limit access to group A over our resources, let's say that
at the beginning, we just want the device to let this people use the printer
and remote desktop computer, but just to this resources, any other will be
rejected by the device (firewall?)
This device we think that could be a Windows 2000 server that we have ready,
but I am not sure about the steps that now I have to follow.

Could you help me on this?
Thanks in advanced.

Luis.

Luis.
