Help,

I am trying to connect to my SqlServer2000 that has a
Windows2000 as operating system, via VPN.

My firewall has opened 1433 and 1434 tcp/udp ports.

If I ping it response very fast (200ms).
If I connect to a Unix server using Telnet it function
properly.

I tried setting up Client Network Utility, TCP/IP with
1433 port.

I don't know if I have to setup something more, like
HOSTS, or ???

what is the error message??
timeout, server do not exists, network problems, acces
denied?, login failed?. if the error is a security error,
read about using kerberos in some cases. can your write
the exact error message?.
