Como interpetar las lecturas en Sqlserver 2000

Tengo un Procedimiento Almacenado que cuando lo ejecuto en el QA me arroja
este resultado quisiera saber como se interpreta esto y si hay informacion
al respecto a esto.

read-ahead reads 0.
Table 'M_Proveedor'. Scan count 234, logical reads 468, physical reads 0,
read-ahead reads 0.
Table 'D_OrderImp'. Scan count 1, logical reads 3, physical reads 0,

Table 'D_Tablas'. Scan count 439, logical reads 878, physical reads 0,
read-ahead reads 0.
Table 'd_ProvProducto'. Scan count 1, logical reads 16, physical reads 0,
read-ahead reads 0.
Table 'M_Forwarder'. Scan count 1, logical reads 2, physical reads 0,
read-ahead reads 0.
Table 'M_OrderImp'. Scan count 1, logical reads 2, physical reads 0,
read-ahead reads 0.

SQL Server Execution Times:
CPU time = 20 ms, elapsed time = 120 ms.

Bueno básicamente las lecturas lógicas indican el número de páginas que han
sido necesario leer, el numero de scans es el número de pasadas a la misma
tabla, las lecturas físicas se producen cuando el dato no está en caché ya.

si además de esto nos pasas el plan de ejecucion de la consulta igual
podemos ayudarte a interpretar que está pasando.

Te sugiero también que le pases el Index Tunning wizard a tu consulta, por
si está falta de índices..
