Prueba este procedimiento:

Step 1: Please disable all the third party firewalls on your computer, such
as Zone
Alarm, McAfee, etc.

Step 2: Rename the CatRoot2 file.

1. Open Windows Explorer, and open this folder: C:\Windows\System32.
2. In the System32 folder that opens, find the sub-folder named CatRoot2,
right
click it and then select Rename.
3. Type "BadCatroot2" (without the quotation marks) then press Enter to
rename the
folder to BadCatroot2.

Note: Then, when restarting your computer, Windows XP will create a new
folder
CatRoot2 after accessing the Windows Update site.

Step 3: Please locate to the folder C:\WUTemp and deleted all the files and
folders
within it.

Step 4: Click Start, click Run, input "TIMEDATE.CPL" (without quotation
marks) and
press Enter, and then make sure the current time and time zone are is
correct.

Step 5: Check IE language settings:

a. Click Start, click Run, input "INETCPL.CPL" (without quotation marks) and
press
Enter.
b. Click the "General" tab, and then click "Languages".
c. In the "Language "list, make sure that only the current operating system
language version (For example, English (United States) [en-us]) is included.

(If the operating system language version is not on the list, click "Add",
click
the language in the "Language" list, and then click "OK" three times.)

Step 6: Clean up cookie information and reload some default IE settings.

1. Open IE, click Tools and click Internet Options.
2. Click "Delete Cookies" and select Yes when to confirm.
3. Click "Delete Files" and select Yes when to confirm.
4. Switch to the Security tab, select Internet and click "Default Level".
5. Switch to the Privacy tab, click "Default".
6. Switch to the Advanced tab, Click "Restore Defaults" button and then
deselect
"Enable third-party browser extensions".

Restart your computer to test this issue again.
