Error de conexiòn

Saludos a todos, un amigo me pidio les hiciera esta consulta,

Dice:
Tengo un servidor es un 2003 small business. Tiene instalado El MSDE SQL
Server
Cuando se le da doble click sobre el Windows Share Point abre el Internet
Explorer con http://localhost/ indica que la página encontrada no existe

En el Event properties dice lo siguiente:

#50070: Unable to connect to the database STS_Config on COOPEMED\Sharepoint.
Check the database connection information and make sure that the database
server is running.
Event ID: 1000


Si alguien tiene referencias al respecto me la pueden hacer saber. Muchas
