Internet Explorer patch?

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
I received an e-mail from security@microsoft.com saying:
"Dear friend , use this Internet Explorer patch now!
There are dangerous virus in the Internet now!
More than 500.000 already infected!" and a attach name
patch.exe. I wanna to know if it is real or not

Is not real. It's a viruses. Microsoft never send attachments by mail
Delele it!
