Password protect web content

Hi all...
First, thank you all for all the help that I got from you before with my
problems..
Well, I am still in the process of creating my own website, now I face a

delema; I want to put some files in web site that will only be accessable
through the site itself with a username and a password
Ex, I want to put a section called "Music", and only those who have the
right username and password will be able to access that part and its
contect...
I know that this is possible through Javascript, but the security level

be very low
I think it is also possible to do that through CGI (I can't wite in Perl

CGI myself)...
Any other suggesstions??
