Instalar IE7 en XPsp3

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
Hace unos días que no consigo que Ie7 se instale en equipos que vienen con
XPOEM SP3. Vamos, desde que el SP3 viene integrado, no hay forma de
instalarlo ni con el WindowsUpdate ni descargándolo. He encontrado una
solución en una página que me dice que coja el ejecutable de la instalación
en Inglés y los demás archivos de la española, porque Microsoft sólo ha
arreglado dicho ejecutable, pero no soy capaz de creérmelo. ¿Me podéis echar
una mano? Gracias.

No, no, Instalo el Iexplorer y las actualizaciones desde Internet uno por
uno, excepto ahora que tu página pone que no instale desde Wupdate.

sí. Los seguí. Puse a funcionar el bat que utiliza Administradores en lugar
de Administrators. Hizo el proceso, apagué y encendí y ... nanay.

Sigue siendo un problema aunque lo consigamos, porque preparo muchos equipos
al mes y estos métodos son para sacar de un apuro.

¿Cómo estás Enrique?

Tengo exactamente el mismo problema que SinT. Instalé de cero un Windows XP
SP2, inmediatamente instalé el SP3 para luego proceder a realizar
WindowsUpdate, instalé todas las actualizaciones a excepción del IE7 para
tratar de instalar IE8 Beta 2. No se pudo realizar la instalación y luego
procedí a través de WindowsUpdate a instalar IE7 de manera fallida.

Ya seguí TODOS los pasos contenidos en el link que se deja en el escritorio
luego del fallo en la instalación así como los de tu artículo con el mismo
resultado.

¿Habrá alguna solución que no sea echar todo para atrás e instalar el IE7
antes del SP3?

Bien, entiendo que actualmente tienes instalado (en teoría, correctamente) el SP3 en Windows XP, y que a partir de la instalación del SP3 no se han podido instalar más actualizaciones, incluido el IE7.

A partir de este punto, es importante y necesario que se descarguen e instalen sin ningún problema todas las actualizaciones que ofrece Windows Update. Por tanto, sigues estos pasos (que también debería seguir SinT):

1. Desde el menú Inicio > Ejecutar, teclea el siguiente comando y pulsa Aceptar (copia y pega):

runDll32 shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL sysdm.cpl,,5

2. De las cuatro casillas de Actualizaciones automáticas, marca "Notificarme, pero no descargarlas automáticamente ni instalarlas". Pulsa Aplicar y Aceptar. Reinicia el sistema.

3. Sigue ahora los pasos que describo en este artículo, al pie de la letra:

4. Accede a Windows Update, www.windowsupdate.com , e intenta que se descarguen e instalen todas als actualizaciones críticas para tu sistema EXCEPTO IE7. Internet Explorer no aconsejo que se descargue-instale desde WU. Si no ha habido ningún problema con las actualizaciones pendientes y se han instalado correctamente, reinicia de nuevo el sistema y descárgate IE7 desde la página oficial de Microsoft:

5. Una vez descargado, procede a la instalación de IE7, teniendo muy en cuenta lo que explico en este otro artículo:

Bien, entiendo que actualmente tienes instalado (en teoría, correctamente) el SP3 en Windows XP, y que a partir de la instalación del SP3 no se han podido instalar más actualizaciones, incluido el IE7.

A partir de este punto, es importante y necesario que se descarguen e instalen sin ningún problema todas las actualizaciones que ofrece Windows Update. Por tanto, sigues estos pasos (que también debería seguir SinT):

4. Accede a Windows Update, www.windowsupdate.com , e intenta que se descarguen e instalen todas als actualizaciones críticas para tu sistema EXCEPTO IE7. Internet Explorer no aconsejo que se descargue-instale desde WU. Si no ha habido ningún problema con las actualizaciones pendientes y se han instalado correctamente, reinicia de nuevo el sistema y descárgate IE7 desde la página oficial de Microsoft:

5. Una vez descargado, procede a la instalación de IE7, teniendo muy en cuenta lo que explico en este otro artículo:
