1. Download GSpot tool from this address:

software will tell you what codecs (audio & video) are
needed to play a videoclip.

2. Well, this is very complicated since there are too many
codecs, just search for them in Yahoo, Altavista, Google
or any search page. Of course there are known codecs like
Divx (you find it at www.divx.com).
