Error al ejecutar aplicaciones

Seguramente es el ServicePack 4, Microsoft liberó un SP4 erróneo que se
solucionó en su día con un Fix, desinstala el SP.

Desde hace algún tiempo me aparece este error cuando
ejecuto algunas aplicaciones:
"Illegal System DLL relocation: The system DLL
kernel32.dll was relocated in memory. The application
will not run properly. The relocation occurred because
the DLL C:\Windows\System\MPR.dll occupied an address
range reserved for Windows NT system DLL's. The vendor
supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL."
