Client problems

Hi, install the MDAC 2.8 please!!

Hi,
I have a Win2k Server SP4 with SQL 2000 latest SP. I am experiencing
conectivity problems with the clients.

If I use the Query analyzer tool from another SQL server and try to

connect

Also, in the problematic office branch PADAGRAL has 5 win2k pro clients

but i didn't installed or changed anything!!! why was it working 2 days ago
and not now?

and BTW i "fixed" it by adding PADAGRAL IP address to the hosts file of each
server that was not able to connect to PADAGRAL

why?
