Imposible cambiar directivas de contraseñas. Event id: 1202 (0x7 e)

La incidencia es la siguiente:
Cuando intento cambiar una direciva de contraseà±a (ejemplo longiud mà­nima
de la contraseà±a), me la actualiza correctamente en la columna "local
settings" pero no en "efective settings".

Ademà¡s me aparece el siguiente evento en el Event Viewer:
15/06/2005 17:30:29 SceCli Warning None 1202 N/A MAQUINA "Security policies
are propagated with warning. 0x7e : The specified module could not be found.


El problema surge porque ahora tengo configurada una longitud mà­nima d
contraseà±a, y necesito introducir una contrasela de 3 caracteres.
¿Cómo puedo cambiar las directivas de contraseà±as para que surtan efecto?
¿Como puedo solucinar el error Event id: 1202 (0x7e)?

Hola,
He visto que aparecen diferentes Error Code, pero no el 0x7e (no encuentro
en ninguna documentación, página,... este Error Code)

Sólo sé que hace referencia a "The specified module could not be found",
pero esto no me especifica qué módulo es el afectado. ¿Sabes como puedo
identificarlo?

Ok, 2 preguntas:
¿Sobre qué fichero ".exe" o ".dll" tendría que aplicar el depends.exe para
obtener la/s dlls corruptas?
Según el log que te adjunto más abajo, parece ser que el disco duro está
corrupto/defectuoso, ¿no?, podría ejecutar chkdsk /R ¿no?
