powerpoint issue

18/03/2005 - 17:50 por Paul | Informe spam
When I create a Text box in powerpoint 2000 the text starts to far to the
"left" and is cut off. Almost like it starts outside the texbox boundries.
The text is then cut off in the slideshow. All the ruler settings are OK and
the first line indent is OK. Changing font does not fix it either.

It looks like the first line indent is set to a negative number but you
can't a negative number as a first line indent.

It only happens in this one powerpoint file.

Anyone else have this problem.

Thanks

Paul,

This is an Office newsgroup in Spanish language (ES)

Have you tried to copy the other items in that PPT file to a new one?
I'm considering some kind of corruption with the text styles.

Or a better one: Create a new file, create a new text box, type your
text, copy the text, paste it in the old file. Select the text bos just
pasted, right-click and select "Set Autoshape Defaults".

Also, you'd receive better ideas in the PowerPoint newsgroup in English
language:
news://news.microsoft.com/microsoft...powerpoint

Good luck!
