webcam

Hello Colin,
Try using the latest drivers for your webcam, also check the firewall and antivirus settings, it can be blocking the video ports (do not use more than one firewall and/or antivirus active in your PC)

Have you a TVcard or some other video device attached to your PC?
Then can be a IRQ conflict with your webcam, so try using a splitter, disconnecting the other video device or (better for me) using some stuff like SplitCamera (http://www.splitcamera.com/index.html)
