Dial up connection

Hi all

In windows xp when I make a dial up connection xp seems to put its own
password in it instead of my password.
I have tried deleting the dialup connection and setting a new one but it
always adds its own password.
Any help would be appreciated

Thanks Jeff

Hi Jeff,

By default in XP the password is set to 16 characters. This is for security
reasons. All is well.

All the Best,
