NO puedo actualizar

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
Buenos días.
Pretendo actualizar mi red, dominio a windows 2003 añadiendo un servidor
Windows 2003 y promocionandolo.
He ejecutado el dcpromo (domainprep y forestprep) en el servidor de windows
2000 y me dice que ya está actualizado. (creo que esto ya lo hice cuando
instale el Exchange 2003
Pero, cuando ejecuto el dcpromo me peta y me dice que "the active directory
wizard cannot continue because the forest is not prepared for installing
windows server 20003... use adprep..."... "the versión of the active
directoy schema of the source forest is not compatible with the version of
active directory..."
¿Alguna idea?

Actualmente que tienes? un dominio 2000?

Lo que te dice es que tienes que preparar tu schema para utilizar Windows Server 2003; si tienes exchange esto ya lo has hecho, preparandolo para soportar Exchange. El proceso es similar pero en este caso apunta a WS2003. Debes correr el adprep de Windows Server 2003.

El programa adprep.exe. Esta en el cd del 2003 dentro de la carpeta x:/I386. Este comando prepara el Bosque y el Dominio para soportar que servidores Controladores de Dominio Windows 2003. De todas formas te paso un link con info adicional:
