Problem With Device Driver for Lucent Win Modem

12/10/2003 - 21:30 por tc | Informe spam
I have a Hewlett-Packard Pavilion 724c which came preloaded with Windows XP
along with the Lucent Windows Modem. However, the curent driver that came with
the PC is stopping my PC from going into standby mode.

When I tried to install the latest driver for the Lucent Win Modem, I got a
message that "the software for the Lucent Wind Modem has not passed Windows Logo
testing to verify compatibility with Windows XP. If anyone has any ideas on how
to correct this problem I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks much.

Dude, try the English groups or posting in spanish, anyway, mabe the drivers
didn´t pass logo certification because they wouldn´t allow the PC to go in
Stand By, 3 options
Check www.hp.com for a patch or an update
Wait for a certified driver (you may wish to wait sitting)
Disable the modem (good option if you run internet over cable or DSL.

Best regards
