Problemas a la hora de crear un ASR

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
Buenas tardes,

Ante todo gracias por anticipado.

Tengo un servidor con Windows 2003 Standard R2 cuando intento crear un ASR
una vez que elijo la opción en el menú de backup me da el siguiente error y
no me lo crea:

Backup Status
Operation: Backup
Active backup destination: File
Media name: "as.bkf created 8/21/2007 at 12:03 PM"

Volume shadow copy creation: Attempt 1.
"MSDEWriter" has reported an error 0x800423f4. This is part of System State.
The backup cannot continue.

Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:800423f4
Aborting Backup.

The operation did not successfully complete.

Necesito crear un ASR no se que debo hacer?

Hola,

Error 800423f4 appears in the backup log file when you back up a volume by
using the Volume Shadow Copy service in Windows Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/828481

Time-out errors occur in Volume Shadow Copy service writers, and shadow
copies are lost during backup and during times when there are high levels of
input/output
