Puede ser que se caliente el procesador con Spybot??

Observo una desesperante pausa de 12 minutos al final del análisis antes de decidirse a dar el informe, aparte que se toma el 100% del procesador todo el tiempo.
Para analizar 75000 ficheros se tona 50 minutos + 12 para dar el informe.

Se trata de un pentiun II a 350.
SO = W2K, sp4

¿No habrá alguna otra explicación y con ella alguna solución?

Spybot - Search & Destroy is quite CPU intensive. It is possible that the CPU overheating and the system is shutting down to protect the processor. Make sure that the fans are running and that dust is cleared from any ventilation ports in the case.

The problem can happen in both desktops and laptops, although the problem is more prevalent in laptops.

si queres sacar la duda de la temperatura bajate una app que se llama
"hardware sensors monitor". esa te dice la tº del cpu, y quizas, si, como te
dice aquella, pueda ser sobrecalentamientopero ojo, tambien es un
pentium II corriendo en w2k. ese sistema operativo corre con aquel
procesador, pero un pII tampoco es una barbaridad, quizas se demore solo
porque asi tiene que ser ;)
