Yo ya lo he desinstalado hace semanas, porque NI actualizaba ni nada. Sólo
que han puesto una nueva versión(la 1.3) y poca cosa más.

Tras pasar la actualización y analizar el equipo me aparece un elemento con
el siguiente texto:
Possible browser hijack attempt
(HKEY_CURRENT_USER:Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main"Start Page
("about:blank"). Antes de la actualización no me aparecía.
¿Qué significa?

Una falsa alarma, significa que existe un pequeño problema en dicha rama,
de donde está indicada el about:blank, al indicarlo en el navegador.

Si le has dicho que lo borrara, no creo que te pase problemas, porque por
lo tanto, si tu navegador lo tienes como about:blank al iniciar el Internet
Explorer, tendrás que poner normalmente un enlace que no sea ese.

Muchos usuarios ponen un enlace AL inicio de sesión del Internet Explorer.
Sea cual sea y del cómo quiera que sea el enlace.

CONSEJO: Muchas veces, cuando un usuario iniciado a Internet, pone el
about:blank, se le OLVIDA poner un enlace en las opciones del navegador. Lo
más correcto, es poner un enlace cualquiera que te sea más agusto para tí,
y que te lo abra siempre que necesites cada vez que abres el navegador.
