Problema (creo que) grave con AD

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
Buenas de nuevo

¿Alguien me pueda dar luz sobre este tema?

Porque es un entorno donde tengo el temor de meter otro DC y
quererlo
"emparejar" a ese DC se vaya todo al carajo.

Lo ideal sería:

-Separar el DC del Exchange 2003 (¿puedo de forma fácil?) y poner
el
exchange en un server 'stand-alone'
-Meter otro DC de dominio en un entorno limpio WS2003 (Podría
añadir
un DC en un entorno "dañado"?)
-Pasarle los 5 roles al nuevo DC (¿creeis que se podría con ese
error?), hacerlo GC, DNS con AD, etc...
-Comprobar que todo es correcto
-Despromocionar el anterior DC
-Subir el nivel de dominio a 2003 nativo
-Meter otro DC WS2003 ó WS2008 para tener HA

A ver que me decís.

A ver, varias cosas

Es un 2000 Server?? Lo dudo, actualiza las support tools por las del 2003



Sí, es un Windows 2000 Server, SP4
¿Puedo instalar el "SUPTOOLS.MSI" del CD de mis otros servers W2003
sin problemas en el W2000S SP4?

Segundo:
El nombre del server es SERVIDOR tal cual??
Si es así, puede ser un problema, ya que nombres genéricos de ese tipo (o
fileserver por ejemplo) son nombres restrinjidos que no deben usarse...




No tenía constancia de ello, como en w2000 no se puede renombrar el
DC, ¿puedo solventarlo de alguna manera?, hay que recordar que el
exchange "vive" en él y requiere que el nombre sea el mismo.. :-(


Tercero:
        Dns Servers. . . . . . . . : 172.16.0.6
                                     172.16.0.68
                                     80.58.0.33

Eso está fatal...el DNS, si es el único DC, debe ser sólo su IP, ninguna
otra y mucho menos una pública...para eso se usan los forwarders:



Tenía entendido que con poner la 1ª DNS en cada DC con su ip, valía, y
las secundarias y terciarias (en este caso) eran "no intrusivas". El
Forwader con la ip del DNS de mi ISP ha estado siempre en el servicio
DNS :-) , es más, siempre desactivo los root hints

Lo he cambiado, he puesto al DC como su único server dns, su IP, nada
más.

Al ejecutar el netdiag, me da todo como "Passed"



El 0.68 entiendo que no es un Dc si no un DNS Server cualquiera



Sí, así es, es un server DNS, sin más


Cuarto:

Eso puede ser por el Ghost...



Pues debido a mi ignorancia, no le encuentro la lógica, ¿puedes
aclarmelo por favor?

A ver si consigo realizar un backup del system state, que tengo miedo
que no aguante mucho. :-(

Pero ya te digo, en ese dominio, se pueden crear GPOŽs, usuarios,
recursos, etc... que lo aplica perfectamente, pero quiero poder
realizar un backup del system state que diga que está ...

Si es un 2000 entonces lo que te he comentado de support tools lo puedes
obviar, están correctas

Si has puesto ese nombre, y encima es un Exchange, la única posiilidad
sería poner un DC adicional con Exchange, y moverlo todo a él, pero antes de
ir por ese camino angustioso, lo de las DNs lo que creías estaba fatal
creído; si te lees el KB que te puse y buscas la información adicioan len
Technet verás el error que has comentido.

En el DC, déjale como DNS sólo su IP, nada más, y haz el ipconfig
/registerdns y reinicia el servicio de netlogon (sólo el servicio, no el
servidor o no hacemos nada).

Luego pasa el dcdiag y el netdia g y nos comentas el resultado.

No tenía constancia de ello, como en w2000 no se puede renombrar el
DC, ¿puedo solventarlo de alguna manera?, hay que recordar que el
exchange "vive" en él y requiere que el nombre sea el mismo.. :-(

Tenía entendido que con poner la 1ª DNS en cada DC con su ip, valía, y
las secundarias y terciarias (en este caso) eran "no intrusivas". El
Forwader con la ip del DNS de mi ISP ha estado siempre en el servicio
DNS :-) , es más, siempre desactivo los root hints

Lo he cambiado, he puesto al DC como su único server dns, su IP, nada
más.

Al ejecutar el netdiag, me da todo como "Passed"

Es lo único ya raro que tiene, y com te dije, puede ser debido a usar un
Ghost que no se debe hacer nunca en un DC y menos con un exchange
