Problemas con global catalog

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
hola a todos les comento como he tenido mi red
1 servidor w2k3 server como dominio
1 server de correo exchange 2003

quise migrar a nuevos HW ambos, pero estos fierros me llegaron con w2k3 R2
ambos, lo primero que hice fue:
el schema de mi DC lo migre, para que pueda trabajar con el nuevo server que
tiene w2k3 r2. luego pase los roles FSMO al nuevo HW puse al nuevo DC como
global catalog, configure los DNS al nuevo DC, y por ultimo en el exchange
cambie los DNS para que apunten al nuevo server.

todo esto solo para la migracion del DC aun quedando de tarea pasar el
exchange, pero me di con la sorpresa que cuando simplemente desconecte el DC
antiguo y prendia solo el nuevo DC con w2k3 r2 y iniciaba el exchange este
nunca levanto, me decia que no encontraba el global catalog. me fui al system
manager de exchange a directory access y no figuraba mi nuevo server.

en el exchange le hice su ipconfig /flushdns pero igual, verifique que los
roles esten bien traspasados con netdom query FSMO y todo OK.

la verdad es que no se por donde esta el error, agradecere su ayuda.

Si has ejado deshabilitada la tarjeta de red que te dije, repasa el ornden
de tarjetas de red para que aparezca primero la tarjeta de red que tiene
link; repasa además que no tienes el firewall levantado.

hola javier, mira si estan deshabilitada las otras tarjetas, pero no se como
ponerla primero, ahora el firewall si esta desactivado en ambos server.

hola javier, hice los pasos que menciona tu link pero nada sigue saliendo
este mensaje. ya puse en orden las tarjetas de red.

dime pasara algun problema si en vez de que el system manager de exchange
encuntre solo el GC yo lo busque... creo que lo forzaria y no es la idea
verdad.

practicamente mi red esta trabajando de esta forma.

DC1 (server antiguo) GC, server DNS.
DC2(server nuevo) con los roles FSMO + GC, Server DNS.
Exchange apuntando a los DNS DC2.

Pero si saco al DC1 no levanta el exchange, y este solo ve el GC del DC1 y
en la pestaña donde muestra los Domain controller solo aparece el DC1.

en el DC1 con el error de RCP, ejecuta de nuevo el ipconfig /registerdns y
rienicia el servicio de netlogon (el DC se debe apuntar a sí mismo como DNS1
y como secundario al otro DC)

Prueba otra vez el ipconfigo a reiniciar si no el server
