Problemas con global catalog

hola a todos les comento como he tenido mi red
1 servidor w2k3 server como dominio
1 server de correo exchange 2003

quise migrar a nuevos HW ambos, pero estos fierros me llegaron con w2k3 R2
ambos, lo primero que hice fue:
el schema de mi DC lo migre, para que pueda trabajar con el nuevo server que
tiene w2k3 r2. luego pase los roles FSMO al nuevo HW puse al nuevo DC como
global catalog, configure los DNS al nuevo DC, y por ultimo en el exchange
cambie los DNS para que apunten al nuevo server.

todo esto solo para la migracion del DC aun quedando de tarea pasar el
exchange, pero me di con la sorpresa que cuando simplemente desconecte el DC
antiguo y prendia solo el nuevo DC con w2k3 r2 y iniciaba el exchange este
nunca levanto, me decia que no encontraba el global catalog. me fui al system
manager de exchange a directory access y no figuraba mi nuevo server.

en el exchange le hice su ipconfig /flushdns pero igual, verifique que los
roles esten bien traspasados con netdom query FSMO y todo OK.

la verdad es que no se por donde esta el error, agradecere su ayuda.

hice lo que me dijiste y aun javier, es mas lo reinicie en produccion y el
exchange dejo de enviar y recibir mails. hasta que levanto, por ningun motivo
ve al nuevo DC como GC.

La tarjeta de red tiene algún tipo de Teaming o similar?

Mira el visor de eventos a ver qué más dice; mira el administrador de
dispositivos a ver si la tarejta tiene algún tipo de problema.

Mira que engas marcada la opción de ocmpartir archivos e impresoras y
cliente para redes MS en las propiedades de la tarjeta

el servicio TCP/IP NetBIOSHelper esté inciado, así como el Remote Registry,
y mira en las propiedades de IP lo del DNS que te dije

si estan iniciados estos servicios javier, y tambien en cada DC teiene como
dns secundario el otro server.
