¿Puede apagar su equipo con seguridad?

es muy vieja esa solucion pero es un poco engañosa. La Bios no se identifica correctamente y tu "fuerzas" la instalacion. No es aconsejable hacerlo excepto para pruebas.

pero... ¿en ASUS no habian actualizado la bios esa placa?. Me parece raro, ya que asus suele ser serio.

more pressing of F5!
3.. When the small window does appear, use the up-arrow to choose
“Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI).” (It’s the third from
the top of the list.)
4.. Next, you may see that two-paragraph SCSI/mass storage instruction
again. If so, press <ENTER>. Many drivers will load, then you should see the
Win XP installation screen. If you are running this after Win XP is already
installed, choose the Repair option.

Acabo de actualizar XP y ahora al querer apagar el equipo me aparece :

Puede apagar el equipo con seguridad

¿Puedo modificar algo (y que) en el sistema para que se apague
automáticamente? o es algo que está relacionado con la placa base?

No tengo a la vista el mensaje que mencionas.
Pero entiendo que esa placa, bien actualizada, es 100% compatible ACPI. sin
necesidad de arreglos ajenos a la BIOS.
