Sera problema de DNS?

Ayuda Hacer una pregunta
Hola

Tengo un servidor exchange 2003 que es un controlador de dominio con dns.
Las zonas estan configuradas, tanto la de forward como la de reverse con su
ip interno. Cuando le hago un netdiag me da error en el dns test. Me indica
que no pudo encontrar un primary authoritative dns for el dominio.
Dejando eso a un lado cuando quiero cambiar la contraseña de ese dominio me
indica que no conoce los requerimientos. La unica politica que tengo es la
que viene por defecto y en account policies esta todo sin definir. O sea, no
la he modificado. Será por problema de dns que me esta sucediendo esto?

Ok, perfecto gracias por la aclaración. Al configurar el servidor con el ip
172.20.5.86 y correr el netdiag me indica lo siguiente: netdiag failed to
re-register missing dns entries for the dc on dns server 172.20.5.86. Será
que al ISP le falta algo por configurar?

Es que NO puedes tener como servidor primario de tu dominio las IPs de OTRO
servidor de DNS que no sea el tuyo. Para esto están los "forwarders", por eso
te da el error "authoritative dns server", porque el DNS de tu ISP no te
dejará NUNCA registrar tu máquina.

Deja sólo la IP 172.20.5.86 como servidor de DNS primario, tanto en el
propio server, como en los clientes.

Es que NO puedes tener como servidor primario de tu dominio las IPs de OTRO
servidor de DNS que no sea el tuyo. Para esto están los "forwarders", por eso
te da el error "authoritative dns server", porque el DNS de tu ISP no te
dejará NUNCA registrar tu máquina.

Deja sólo la IP 172.20.5.86 como servidor de DNS primario, tanto en el
propio server, como en los clientes.

En el server, abre una consola DOS:

net stop netlogon
net start netlogon

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns

Y espérate unos 15 minutos. Intenta pasar luego el test otra vez.

chequea esto: debajo de forward lookup zone tengo amsi.mail.amsi con el soa,
ns y host a. Nada mas. Debajo del Reverse lookup zones tengo 172.20.5.x
Subnet con el soa, ns y ptr. No sé si me falta alguna carpeta como por
ejemplo: _msdcs. Cómo puedo verificar el servicio de dns autorizado?
