If you cant afford the software, dont buy a PC! If the person cant afford
XP, get linux. You wouldnt get a mortgage on a house if you couldnt afford
it, and if you did, you wouldnt expect everyone to sympathise.

I dont sympathise, we have had to buy the software just like the OP should
have done.
