B.Gates's pockets for a copy of XP pro ..

Ahhh that explains alot. Its often the case that new people come into
places like newsgroups thinking that things are a certain way with the
world because its true of everyone in their little circle.

do you mean there are
actually private individuals that pay for their OS? Jeez!

Actually in my experience private individuals have a better score on that
than corporations or organizations do.

what's the internet come to these days?
Wasn't like this when i was a youngun!

heehee, yeah right. :) And I get slammed for always talking about the
days before WWW, or before commercialization of the backbones, orbefore
PCs on the internet. Im fairly sure that your "youngun" on the net isnt
like my youngun on the net.

Trial download or winMX, crack or serial, and bob's your uncle. That's
the traditional route. Always has been.

If you knew the word crack then why post to groups like alt.hacker and
alt.os.windows.xp? Why not a crack group where that type of user would be
expected to hang out? Do you also know the word troll?

Something i have yet to be confronted with in nearly a decade online.

I see, this decade online is your basis for what is traditional and
always has been?

Unless your a mystified
noob user who still thinks ICQ is a neat bit of programming and AOL
lets you on to the internet! Heh Heh!

Wow, there's an interesting statement. Have you been offline for awhile
and just getting back in? AOL != Internet is rather an outdated incorrect
slam. You should change that to webTV or XBox.
