Antialiasing issue ?

Hello !

In FS2002, I had antialiasing in the views only, and I think it worked well
also when I was in Window mode.

Now in FS2004 antialiasing is on the whole screen only in fullscreen mode,
but antialiasing is also made on my panels, and tooltips, and ATC messages,
and this is looking very very bad.

When I open the chat window, or FSNav, or press F10 (kneeboard) it's
desactivating the antialiasing, and it takes a while for the graphic board
to activate/desactivate it... this takes time.

Here are my settings: on the NVIDIA driver I let the application choose, in
FS2004, antialiasing "on".

Is there a fix for this ? I don't think it's a driver problem because I have
the last NVIDIA drivers and it works in FS2002.

Will Microsoft make a patches or "service packs" for FS2004 problems or do
we have to wait for FS2006 ?

Thank's for answers.

if you have the latest driver, you got 45.23 - this one has a problem
with AA, as nvidia states in the corresponding pdf-readme-file

normally you would use the drivers AA, but with 45.23 you have to set
AA to application in the drivers and AA on in FS, AFAIK there is no
other way unless you go back to an earlier driver or wait for the next

No sorry Tini. I do use an ATI RADEON 8500 without any probs and just
reported the adress being obviously used and recommended by Katy Pluta
who seems to me a real guru in NVIDIA.
BTW: obviously I'm identified <g>
