PROBLEM
The 80GB Handydrive shall communicate up to 60MB/s inder USB2.0. By
smaller data volumes per command, copies work fine. When I order a

copy

of high volume of data (huge files or folders with much contents),

more

often than not I loose control of the Unit, the HD disappears from

the

Explorer window, and a message appears that the HD has exceeded the
capacity of the port. I am able to solve it by copying smaller

volumes

per command, some may have to be done repeatedly.

In addition, in a backup program (which never works because it moves
mass volumes) I can see that the transfer speed is around

200MB/minute,

fluctuating between 20 and 750. This is certainly very much less

than

the announced 60MB/second, althought I am not sure how they

distinguish

Bytes and Bits.

I have checked, and seen that appearently the HD is located under

the

USB2.0 enhanced brach controller, but still feel that

1. the speed is not at all what it should be
2. the connection is broken if the HD moves faster than the port.

Can anyone explain this to me, from own experience?

Buenas tardes, mi problema es lo siguiente, ¿alguien tiene soluiones?

PROBLEMA
Este 80GB debería comunicar hasta 60MB/S bajo USB2.0. Con pequeños
volumenes de datos si, funcciona. Cuando hago comandos de backup, o de
copias de fisheros o de carpetas grandes, piero control del D externo.
Disaparece del Explorer, y, si no me da la oportunidad de reestablecer
comunicación, tengo que reboot. Recibo tambíén un mensaje algo como


- "el D externo ha sobrepasado la capacided del puerto.."
- "la causa puede ser un defecto del hardware del PC o en la
comunicacion..."

Puedo, si, tras reestablecer la comunicación, hacer la copia por
pequeños volumenes, pero cuesta muchissimo tiempo.

Ademas, en un programa de backup, Retrospect ( que no puedo utilizar
porque se para por causa identico) puedo ver que la rapidez de copia
fluctua alrededor de 200 MB/MINUTO, entre 20 y 750. Esto es muchissimo
inferior a los 60MB/S anunciado en la caja de venta, aunque no estoy
seguro si se habla de bYtes o de bIts
.
He verificado, y constatado que el DD esta localizado bajo el
controlador USB2.0 mejorado, pero siguo con el sentimiento que

1. la rapidez no es lo que deberia ser
2. la comuncacion se corta si el DD se mueve mas rapido que la puerta
del ordinador.


¿Alguien iene experienceia similar, o tiene una solucion?
