Imposible editar GPO

Buenos días, hace un par de meses hice una migración de servidor.
Pasé desde el Catalogo Global, PDC EMulator, etc, hacia la nueva máquina, y
a continuación despromonioné la antigua como DC y posteriormente la apague.

Hasta aquí sin ningun problema, pero hoy al intentar editar las GPO para
publicar una aplicación, me da el siguiente error:

Domain Controller not found for domain.com
The domain controller for Group Policy operations is not available. You may
cancel this operation for this session or retry using one of the following
domain controller choices:
(x) The one with the Operation Master token for the PDC Emulator
() The one used by the Active Directory Snap-ins
() Use any available domain controller

Eliga la opcion que elija, me da el siguiente mensaje:

Failed to find a domain controller. There may be a policy that prevents you
from selecting another domain controller.
Windows cannot find the network path. Verify that the network path is
correct and the destination computers is not busy or turned off. If windows
still cannot find the network path, contact your network administrator.

Es el único DC que tengo en la empresa y no entiendo este error. Alguien
puede hecharme un cable??

he encontrado esta solución

Pero para conseguir el hotfix tengo que solicitar soporte, segun he visto en
el articulo es un winserv2003presp1fix, puedo esperar a que salga el SP1 o me
recomendais solicitar el hotfix.??
