Escribí una respuesta pero no aparece aquí.

He aplicado la sugerencia pero intentando después de resetear me dió el
mismo error.

Respecto al botón inhabilitado "suspender" busqué

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Enum\Root\*PNP0C05\0000

Bajo LOCAL_MARHINE no encontré los subdirectorios \Enum\Root\
simplemente no están.

He aplicado la sugerencia pero intentando despues de resetear me dio el
mismo error.

Bien bajate a tu pc el SP3 para tu office 2003 [ selecciona el idioma de tu
office, si tienes el office en Espanol, te lo descargas en dicho idioma
sino... en el idioma que tengas] una vez bajado en el ordenador, lo ejecutas
y nos dices que ocurre ?

Clic para instaler y comenzó.
